Comfortable split level
(upside down) centrally heated house, set in tranquil surroundings, on a hillside,
half a mile from Monmouth town centre. Casita Alta offers an
hospitable, friendly and peaceful atmosphere for that unique getaway.
An excellent breakfast
menu to choose from is included
in the costs. All diets are catered for if we are given
prior notice when booking.
There is some
provision for walking disabled people; a stair
lift if you have difficulty getting up and down stairs, a shower stool, bath seat and handles to get in and out of the
bath. Sorry there is no provision for severely disabled, the
house is not suitable for a wheelchair.

The accommodation
consists of :
Two bedrooms:- 1 double/twin ensuite bedroom.
Cot available with prior notice.
1 double bedroom with
private bathroom. Both rooms available as single, on single
rate tariff.
Within the area there
are many attractions, including good restaurants, pubs and eating places to suit all tastes
in the town and further afield.
Good centre for touring both sides of the English and Welsh borders
Energetic or easy walking by rivers, in the hills, by waterfalls
etc., or more adventurous locations for the fitter and ambitious
persons.
Castles galore!
Lots of historical, artistic, creative and interesting things to do
and see in the town, near and far.
Play golf, indulge in
river pursuits, mountaineering, climbing hire a bicycle etc.

***If you have an
allergy of any sort, please advise when booking, so I can make contingencies
to meet your requirements. The garden is full of lowers for
three quarters of the year and I always put flowers in the bedrooms
and round the house. The bed linen has lavender bags nestled
in it!***
We have solar heating panels on the roof
for our hot water system, and try to recycle as much as
possible.
Children to OAPs, business and working people and walking disabled
ALL welcome.
From the terraced garden, relax and see the sun set over
the
beautiful views of the Welsh hills.
